Do you know what fiberglass reinforced polyurethane doors and windows are?

Under the background of global emission reduction, countries around the world are raising the energy-saving requirements for doors and windows. However, under the existing technology, under the premise of ensuring comprehensive performance, the characteristics of thermally-insulated aluminum and PVC materials determine the limitations of their application in door and window profiles, and it is very difficult to improve energy-saving performance. In this case, fiberglass reinforced polyurethane composite materials began to come into people's view.

Polyurethane pultruded composite materials are high-strength engineering composite materials produced by pultrusion process with 20% of Baido® high-performance patented polyurethane resin and 80% fiberglass.

Polyurethane is a high-density, polymer material with high strength, strong toughness, and low temperature resistance. The material is environmentally friendly and non-volatile. The products produced by pultrusion, molding, injection molding and other processes with fiberglass have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, high bending strength, wear resistance, aging resistance, non-heat conduction, non-volatile, and have certain fire resistance. They are widely used in aerospace, petrochemical, construction, high-speed rail subway, bridges and other fields.

In the application of doors and windows, fiberglass reinforced polyurethane profiles have obvious advantages over thermally-insulated aluminum alloys and plastic steel. The doors and windows made from them have advantages in thermal insulation, wind pressure resistance, air tightness, water tightness, sound insulation, fire prevention, corrosion resistance and other properties. At the same time, the surface of the profiles can be treated with various coatings with rich effects.
