What are fiberglass boards and prepregs?

Epoxy fiberglass board, also known as epoxy board or fiberglass board, is made by impregnating epoxy resin on fiberglass cloth and curing it at high temperature. It has the characteristics of high strength, high modulus, low density, excellent chemical stability and electrical insulation, and is widely used in photovoltaic, high-speed rail, shipbuilding, new energy vehicles, fixtures, distribution boxes and other industries. Among them, the semi-cured sheet, also known as the bonding sheet or PP, is a semi-finished product of the fiberglass board.
The processing flow of the fiberglass board is simply to mix and stir the epoxy resin and the curing agent to form the epoxy resin glue, put it into the glue tank of the glue machine, and the fiberglass cloth is unrolled and enters the glue tank through the guide roller to be immersed in the epoxy resin glue in the glue tank for gluing. After the dipping, it passes through the squeeze roller to control the resin content, and then removes the solvent and other volatiles by baking and makes the resin in a semi-cured state to form a semi-cured sheet (the semi-cured sheet can be given to the mobile phone back cover processing manufacturer to directly form it into a part of the mobile phone back cover). After the semi-cured sheet is stacked, it is pressed and cut by a press to form a sheet.
