What is high-strength fiberglass?

According to the international standard ISO2078 classification definition of fiberglass, there are two types of high mechanical strength fiberglass; the other type is R-class high-strength fiberglass. The former is drawn from high-strength silicon-alumina-magnesium system glass, and the latter is made from silicon-alumina-calcium-magnesium system glass. These two types of high-strength fiberglass are manufactured and applied abroad. S-class high-strength fiberglass was invented by the American OCV company in the 1960s, with the brand name S-2. R-class high-strength fiberglass was invented by the French Saint-gobain company and is currently jointly operated with OCV company; domestically, it is mainly S-class high-strength fiberglass. For example, HS2 and HS4 are finalized and produced by Sinoma Technology Co., Ltd.
