5G+Industrial Internet enables intelligent transformation of fiberglass factories?

  Taishan Fiberglass deployed a 5G dedicated network in the production workshop and used 5G slicing technology to divide the physical network into multiple logical networks to meet different business applications, so that data can be kept in the workshop and multiple types of business can be flexibly assembled. It has helped to create a variety of application scenarios such as 5G+Cloud AGV, 5G+Logistics Line Shuttle, 5G+Machine Vision Wiredrawing Detection, and Intelligent Security Management to achieve intelligent management and control.
This project won the second prize in the final of the advanced manufacturing special competition of the fourth "Zhanzhang Cup" 5G application collection competition, the excellent award of the national competition of the fourth "Zhanzhang Cup" 5G application collection competition, and was selected as the application case of the building materials industry in the "Typical Application Scenarios and Key Industry Practices (Second Batch) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the second prize in the third Shandong Mobile Internet and 5G Application Innovation Skills Competition.
  The difference between 5G+ cloud AGV and ordinary AGV is that the AGV control instructions are stored in the edge cloud node, the control instruction latency is lower, and it is also conducive to the coordination of AGV small workshops. Cloud AGV meets the factory workshop's demand for flexible AGV car lines and low equipment costs. After combining with 5G technology, "5G+ cloud + visual navigation" forms a set of intelligent handling systems based on cloud-based shared management, centralized intelligent scheduling, high-speed, stable and reliable. The staff can control the transportation and loading and unloading of goods in the workshop in real time on the computer, and realize unmanned warehousing of products from the wire drawing production area to the drying area, reducing costs while improving handling efficiency. The steel frame structures in the workshops in the factory are often blocked, and the shuttle vehicles on the logistics line often lose communication and brake suddenly, which causes high vehicle consumption and the risk of information loss. The advantages of 5G's large bandwidth, low latency, and high reliability solve this problem, making the shuttle vehicles more stable in the drying, cooling, and packaging workshops.
