Private enterprises support half of foreign trade. Will innovation bring new vitality?
In the first half of this year, the import and export volume of my country's private enterprises exceeded 12 trillion yuan for the first time in history, with a growth rate 4.4 percentage points higher than the national average. More high-tech products from private enterprises are rapidly exporting to overseas markets, meeting international market demand with continuous high-quality supply.
The "electronic silk" woven by a private enterprise in Henan has become a key component in integrated circuits, and has secured high-end orders from Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea upon entering mass production.
Zhao Wuquan, Head of the Administration Department at Henan Guangyuan New Materials, said: "This roll of yarn is our most advanced low-dielectric electronic fiberglass yarn to date. 189 strands combined are only about the thickness of a human hair, and are essential for the high-frequency and high-speed transmission of our 5G network."
Zhao Wuquan told reporters that in the past, suppliers of this type of material were concentrated in Japan, Europe, and the United States. After eight years of research and development, the company finally achieved mass production of 60 million meters this year. In the first half of this year, the company's exports exceeded 100 million yuan, a 70% increase over the same period last year.
In Dongguan, Guangdong, where over 90% of enterprises are private, some toy companies are also experiencing a "slow season" that's not slow at all. July is typically the off-season for toy production, but this AI toy workshop is bustling with activity.
Chen Minghuan, Marketing Director of Dongguan Junou Toys Co., Ltd., stated: "Agents in countries like Spain and Brazil are placing orders with us."
Reporters learned that this company has over 20 years of experience in OEM and OEM production, but profits from OEM have been declining year by year. After a brief period of pain, the company saw the development of the AI industry and decided to independently develop AI toys. This transformation has opened up new markets for the company.
In the first half of this year, private enterprises accounted for 57.3% of my country's foreign trade. Among my country's specialized, innovative, and innovative "little giants" with import and export performance, private enterprises account for over 80%. Private enterprises' exports of high-tech products increased by 12.5%.
Liang Ming, Director of the Institute of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce's Institute of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, stated: "Private enterprises are beginning to become a major driving force behind China's foreign trade. The products exported by private enterprises are more flexible and more resilient to risks, further enhancing the resilience and competitiveness of our foreign trade."
