The fiberglass mesh is on the basis of C-glass or E-glass fiberglass weaved fabric, then coated with alkali-resistant liquid. It possesses properties of high strength, good cohesion, and anti-alkali. Thus, fiberglass mesh is the ideal construction material for EIFS (exterior insulation and finish system), widely used for wall reinforcement, roof waterproof. It can also reinforce cement, plastic, bitumen, plaster, marble, mosaic, etc. It is also known as a soft steel bar.

Fiberglass mesh is a neatly woven, crisscross pattern of fiberglass thread that is used to create new products such as tape and filters. When it is used as a filter, it is not uncommon for the manufacturer to spray a PVC coating to make it stronger and last longer. The most common place to find fiberglass mesh is in tape products.
